Auto Dealer Inks 155K sq.ft. Lease at Secaucus Warehouse

A luxury auto dealership has leased a nearly 155,000-square-foot industrial

building in Secaucus, where it will store and prepare new vehicles before

placing them on lots around the region.

Brokerage firm Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, which represented Manhattan Range

Rover, announced Wednesday that its client had inked the long-term lease at

77 Metro Way. The dealership’s new space is just minutes from Manhattan,

occupying Hartz Mountain Industries’ Harmon Cove Industrial Park just off

Route 3 and New Jersey Turnpike Exit 15X.

Bob Klein and Jeff Unger of KDA represented the tenant in the transaction,

while Jeff Chaus of Chaus Realty represented Hartz Mountain.

“Manhattan Range Rover is expanding and in need of larger facilities,” Klein

said in a prepared statement. “Previously, their storage and prep facilities

were scattered throughout smaller lots and this new facility will allow them

to house all storage and new vehicle prep operations under one roof for

logistical efficiency.”

The building features 27-foot-high ceilings, large column spacing, 13 exterior

doors and a drive-in bay, according to the announcement from Kalmon Dolgin

and Neil Dolgin, co-presidents of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates. The parcel

also includes ample parking for employee vehicles and up to 30 tractor trailers.
