American Tool Rents 15K-SF in Gowanus

American Tool & Equipment Rental has rented 15,000-square-feet of space at 185 2nd Ave. in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn.

“American Tool & Equipment Rental was seeking a property that offered a combination of building and yard space to accommodate its construction equipment. We were also looking for a property to use as a showroom and maintenance/repair center, and 185 2nd Avenue came on the market at the perfect time,” said Neil Dolgin, co-president of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates (KDA), which represented the landlord and the tenant in the transaction.

The one-story industrial property is owned by F. Ranieri + Sons Corp., a mason and building materials provider that occupied the space for more than 100 years.
