Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates Arranges 5,000 SF Lease for Cabinets by Stanley, Inc. @ 1830 Atlantic Avenue

Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates (KDA) has arranged a 5,000 square-foot relocation lease within the Halsey Industrial Complex at 1830 Atlantic Avenue in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn for Cabinets by Stanley, Inc., a family-owned and operated custom cabinetry and millwork company. Kalmon Dolgin and Neil Dolgin, co-presidents of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, made the announcement.


Cabinets by Stanley, Inc. was founded in 1999 by Stanley Strysowski, who runs the business out of a Brooklyn space with sons Lukasz and Tom Strysowski. The company is known as one of New York City’s “best kept secrets” in fine custom cabinetry and millwork, and will use the building at 1830 Atlantic Avenue as a workshop for the cabinetry business. The cabinet maker is relocating from its space of the same size at 43 Hall Street in Clinton Hill – the property was sold and is being repositioned – to the 5,000 SF space at the 220,000 SF Halsey Industrial Complex, which is managed by KND Management Co., a subsidiary of KDA.


KDA broker Jeffrey Unger represented the owner in the lease negotiations. Mark Caso of Pinnacle Realty represented the tenant, Cabinets by Stanley.


“KDA uses its strong knowledge of the market and Brooklyn neighborhoods to quickly fill the property when vacancies arise. With the improvement of the economy and the high volume of residential development throughout Brooklyn, industrial space is in high demand,” said Neil Dolgin of KDA. “The Halsey Industrial Complex is perfect for the manufacturing and warehousing needs of the many companies that are either expanding or relocating in Brooklyn.”


The one-story, column-free property at 1830 Atlantic Avenue offers high ceilings, direct loading and heavy power. It was formerly the Halsey Drug Company manufacturing facility. The multi-tenanted property is managed by KND Management – the management arm of KDA. The complex is a series of one-story buildings, totaling more than 220,000 square feet and spanning across three blocks on Atlantic Avenue, between Utica and Buffalo avenues. It offers access to the A and C subway lines and the Nostrand Avenue Long Island Rail Road station, in addition to the B15, B46, B47 and B65 bus routes. It is just minutes from downtown Brooklyn and the Barclays Center.
