Not every industrial property sold in Brooklyn is renovated into luxury condominiums. Limousine company Luxor LLC paid $5 million for a 10,000-square-foot, one-story warehouse at 100 Huntington St., on the border between the Red Hook and Cobble Hill neighborhoods.
The new owner plans to use the property as a parking venue for its cars. The space is currently occupied by Towncar Auto Center body shop. It’s well situated for a car service, near the Brooklyn Queens Expressway and the entrance to the Battery Park Tunnel to Lower Manhattan.
“This deal was all about the location and its proximity to the Tunnel and BQE,” said Neil Dolgin with Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, which represented the buyer and the seller, Alliota Realty, and the buyer. “The availability of 100 Huntington St. for the client and its limousine business made this deal very desirable.”
