Wadler & Lopez of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates arrange 5,060 s/f Lease

Brooklyn, NY According to Kalmon Dolgin and Neil Dolgin, co-presidents of Kalmon Dolgin Affiliates, Inc. (KDA), the firm has arranged a 5,060 s/f expansion lease for Brooklyn Spice Co. at 294 Cooper St. in the Bushwick section. Jacques Wadler and Vincent Lopez of KDA represented the tenant, Brooklyn Spice Co., and landlord, Celtibero LLC, in the deal.

Founded in 2011, the family-run Brooklyn Spice Co. sells the finest spices, flavors, seasonings and rubs from across the globe. The company currently runs the business out of a 2,500 s/f warehouse at 225 Eagle St. in the Greenpoint section. Brooklyn Spice Co.’s retail end will remain on Eagle St., while the wholesale side will be moved to 294 Cooper St.

“Being a family-run, Brooklyn-grown company ourselves, we are happy to work with the Brooklyn Spice Co. as it expands to its new location,” said Neil Dolgin of KDA. “Bushwick continues to turn into a destination for retailers, housing developments and office tenants, and the Brooklyn Spice Co. will benefit from increased foot traffic and multiple transportation options.”

The one-story building is column free and provides excellent retail exposure. Transportation options near 294 Cooper Street include the Halsey Street L subway line, B20, B26 and B60 bus routes. Major thoroughfares Broadway and Myrtle Avenue, and the Jackie Robinson Pwy. are also nearby.
