Developers are planning to convert a former retail site in Carle Place into a distribution center for Amazon. The 7.4-acre site at 2 Westbury Ave. was formerly occupied by a 56,000-square-foot Waldbaum’s supermarket that has been shuttered and vacant for more than four years.
